Beginning this Saturday, the Twas the Bite Before Christmas team will launch a 10-day community countdown leading up to the 17th Annual Fundraiser Turkey Dinner on Tuesday, December 2, 2025, at Le Treport Convention Centre.

This cherished Mississauga tradition brings together community leaders, local businesses, volunteers, and residents for a warm, festive evening of food, entertainment, and collective impact — including a special live performance by Pink Leather Jackets.

The event raises vital funds for Mississauga’s food banks, supporting organizations such as:

The Mississauga Food Bank

The Compass Food Bank

Seva Food Bank

Armagh House and many others

With the need for food assistance continuing to rise, this year’s countdown highlights the importance of community generosity during the holiday season.
